Meet Kayleigh.
She’s a Class of 2017 grad at Hendersonville High School, and we love her senior portrait session in Nashville from this past August.
What was your favorite part about the photo shoot?
Having such a great time and being comfortable with Erin and laughing so so much.
What would be your dream job?
To be a pharmacist 🙂
Why did you choose Erin Smagala Photography?
I chose Erin because I loved the style of her pictures. She takes bright beautiful pictures and I felt that it fit my personality perfectly. I also loved how different all the sceneries were for her clients and how flexible she was with what I wanted my pictures to look like. She made me feel so important and beautiful while taking my pictures. It was one of the best experiences I had while taking pictures.
What is your favorite color?
Purple!!
What is your favorite high school memory so far?
Freshman year I climbed to the top of the rock quarry over Christmas break to see the star that is lit up and it was absolutely beautiful.
What makes you happy?
Honestly, cheering makes me so happy. I am a cheerleader and for a long time I was unable to cheer because of surgeries due to injuries and that showed me how important cheer was to me. Being able to be apart of a team and know that I am important and have a reason to be there is an amazing feeling to me. Also, watching little girls watch me cheer and have them tell me they want to be just like me when they are older is the best feeling in the world. Many people do not take cheerleading seriously but I am happiest when I am able to tumble and stunt and get new skills and know that I am good at something so amazingly difficult.
What is your favorite television show?
Secret Life of an American Teenager
Name one thing you have too much of.
Waaaaaaaaaay to much makeup but I always want more
Name one thing you cannot live without.
Food obviously but I love eating
Which ESP products are your favorite?Â
I absolutely love the canvases I ordered. They are up all over my house. I also love the flash drive so I can upload the pictures and email them to my family that lives far away. I also love the little pocket booklet because it was a perfect gift for my grandmothers!
Which colleges are you looking into?
Alabama, Ole Miss, and Kentucky!!
What was your favorite location, and why?
My favorite location was outside in the woods because the scenery was beautiful and I loved my blue dress that I wore and it just felt like me.
If you have ever worked with another photographer, how was your experience different with ESP?
It was so much easier working with ESP because I felt like I could have a say in what I wanted instead of being forced to take pictures I did not want. Erin also made me feel beautiful and was so flexible in what I wanted to do. She was so easy to talk to and made the whole session about me the whole time. Other photographers have a tendency in making the session all about them so they look good for taking the pictures but Erin’s focus was solely on making me feel beautiful.
In general, what are your final thoughts about the entire ESP experience?
I absolutely loved it and I will go to ESP if I ever need another photoshoot. I have never had so much fun during a photoshoot as I did with her. I would recommend anyone to use ESP for their senior pictures or any other photoshoots that they need because I know that they will have just as amazing of an experience as I did!
Do you love Kayleigh’s senior portraits and want some of your own?  ESP is currently booking sessions for July-November with the Class of 2018. Contact Erin to reserve your spot!
