Pretty With Purpose // An ESP Model Team Glowup
Creating the ESP Model Team back in 2013 was the best move for my business. It was a brand new concept in the area, and it became very popular very quickly. I loved putting together a team of girls from all across Middle TN so that they could be showered with attention, make new friends, and get extra senior portraits. I have loved this program for so many reasons.
There were just two problems that have screamed louder and louder each year– scheduling photo shoots to accommodate a large group & turning away applicants who didn’t make the team.
The scheduling part was made easier when the pandemic happened and I made the group smaller… but that just meant that more applicants received an email that they were not chosen for the team. I realized one day how much this feels like a Mean Girl move, and that’s just not who I am. I do not want to be any type of rejection for a teenage girl in any way. That isn’t what my brand represents.
So, from this point forward, the traditional ESP Model Team program is dissolved, and I’m so proud to announce my new “Pretty With Purpose” sessions!
The old program involved taking applications, selecting applicants, and then signing them on as a Model with a booked senior portrait session. They were paying clients, but they got the additional photo shoot, professional makeup, and extra perks on top of their regular senior portrait session. This was a great value for the selected applicants each year.
But I’m doing away with the applications and the selecting/rejecting. Starting this Spring, I will be offering at least two Pretty With Purpose sessions each year. Any Class of 2023 Senior with a booked senior portrait session with me will be invited to the PWP session, and they’ll receive 5-7 retouched images. Some of the photos delivered will be groups of girls together, but I will always deliver individual photos to each client. There is no extra cost for these sessions, but I will urge them to participate in whatever charity drive ESP is currently supporting. (This is where the PURPOSE comes in.)
So, let’s say that I plan a PWP session in April. Anyone who is on my calendar for a senior portrait session for the Class of 2023 will be invited. If I plan another PWP session in August, all of my 2023 seniors will again be invited. If I plan a session for January, again, all Class of 2023 seniors who have booked senior portraits with me will be invited. You can participate in as many of these sessions as your schedule allows.
No selections, no rejections… just pretty photos with awesome teens while giving back to causes that are important.
Another fun change is that ALL Class of 2023 seniors will earn a $50 print credit for each friend who books a session and mentions their name.
