Meet Erin. This pretty girl and her adventurous spirit just graduation from Gallatin High School. We took her senior portraits around downtown Nashville and the Vanderbilt campus back in September. Here are a few of my favorites from the day…

Why did you choose Erin Smagala Photography?
I chose ESP because Erin truly makes every girl or guy’s dream and vision come true in their senior portraits. I immediately noticed that everyone who shot with her had their own individual personality displayed in their portraits. None of her shoots look the same because they are not!! I knew that Erin would deliver exactly what I wanted and make me feel special and unique throughout the process.

What is your favorite high school memory so far?
DECA State

What makes you happy?
Trying new things makes me happy. I love to have new adventures and experiences in my life. I like to switch things up. Keeping my life spontaneous keeps it fresh and interesting! Pushing myself outside of my comfort zone results in happiness because I am content knowing that I did not settle for the known things in my life.

What is your favorite television show to binge watch?
Grey’s Anatomy

How did you feel about your makeup and the makeup artist?
I felt so confident! Erin’s makeup artist also listens to what you want and makes sure you’re comfortable in what you’re wearing. The makeup photographs wonderfully, and you still see your natural beauty shine through!

Name one thing you cannot live without:
Sushi

Name one thing you have too much of:
Shoes!

Which colleges are you looking into?
University of Georgia, University of Florida, University of Tennessee, and Florida State University

What would be your dream job?
Plastic Surgeon

What was your favorite location and why?
My favorite location was the Legislative Plaza in Nashville because it was quite versatile. My pictures captured many different perspectives and backgrounds all in one place! What was your favorite part about the photo shoot?
My favorite part about the photo shoot was actually all of the non glamorous parts! I will always remember changing in the hot weather and standing in a tree just to g et the perfect shot. All of the things that happened behind the scenes of the perfect picture will always make me laugh!

In general, what are your final thoughts about the entire ESP experience?
This has been one of the best experiences of my life! While that sounds cliche, it is true! I have made friendships through her model team and have met many outstanding girls. I knew that Erin was perfect for me, and she proved it over and over. She is meticulous and makes every step of the experience fun and as stress-free as possible. I could not have imagined anyone else to be my senior photographer!
